Project: Hypothetical promotional campaign for the Fremont Theater in San Luis Obispo, California.
Concept: SLO is a college town in which much of the population is aged 18-22. My research found that while this age group was aware of the Fremont, they didn't understand what it offered. Most people thought it was a movie or performing arts theater and were unaware of the comedy shows and concerts that took place there. In my designs, I wanted to stay true to the historic "Streamline Modern" architecture while also feeling current and fresh to cater to a younger audience.
