Project: A series of watercolor-inspired digital paintings to illustrate a 48-page children's book.
Concept: This book tells the true story of a neglected pet potbelly pig who was rescued by nonprofit farm animal rescue Greener Pastures Farm Sanctuary. I strove to create a charming, whimsical world through the style of illustration. I wanted the whole book to be appealing to young children, while also emphasizing the joyful, colorful life she has after being rescued versus the dark, lackluster life she had before.
